Step 4: BIDDING

Next, you would be able to bid in all types of platforms, including Real time Auto Auctions for buying Japanese used cars. Moreover, we also accept requests to source any vehicle beyond Auto Auction houses in Japan.

Generally, if we have bought a car successfully cheaper than your placed Bid, you would be charged according to that Actual sold price. Therefore, the lower a car is bought, the cheaper the price would be for a customer.

• We accept all Bids up to 7:00 AM (Japan Standard Time) for the same date Auto Auction participation.
• You may change or cancel a placed bid by Only contacting us (Calling, WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, etc.) one and half hours prior to Auction time for a related vehicle.

Step 5: PAYMENT

As a result, once a vehicle has been bought successfully by HLM Autos Japan, we will issue an Invoice for the Remaining Balance (Total cost – Initial Deposit). Subsequently, a customer is required to proceed payment of Remaining balance within 7 business days for buying Japanese cars .

Step 6. SHIPMENT

HlmAutos Japan uses all the resources and network to proceed shipment as soon as possible. We keep a customer updated with all shipment procedures, including ETD, ETA, Documentation, sharing Photos, etc.

HLM AUTOS JAPAN CHARGES

As our priority, the company tries its best to ensure that a customer would get enough knowledge of buying Japanese used cars, and Left hand drive ones. In addition, HlmAutos Japan would strive to offer Japan auto Auction Agency service at possible competitive prices for purchasing Japanese cars. Besides, we offer service sourcing a car beyond Auction houses, particularly from Local dealers in Japan.

COST BREAKDOWN

FOB means all the costs related to a vehicle within Japan as shown below, while Car price means only Car’s BID price in Japan car Auctions, including One price stock. Please find structure of costs as below.

FOB (Free on Board) consists of:

   1. Car price

   2. BASIC AGENCY FEE COVERS*

•        Auction purchase fee*
•        Inland delivery (up to ¥ 10,000)*
•        Preparation of documents
•        Shipping charge
•        Dispatching documents (DHL, FedEx, etc.)
•        Our commission
•        Other related expenses in Japan

   3. Mandatory inspection (Upon request depending on a country’s import regulation)

C&F (Cost and Freight) consists of:

1. FOB

2. FREIGHT

Note: Additional costs to Basic Agency fee might be incurred for

♦   Tender Auctions – 10,000 JPY: The purchasing fee for buying a car  from Tender Auction house is more expensive than purchasing by Bidding Live on Traditional Auction houses.

♦   Negotiation purchase – 15,000 JPY: The purchasing a vehicle by Negotiation after a vehicle is Unsold at Real time Auction is possible and Purchase fee is a bit higher than the normal one. Therefore, we charge extra for Negotiation purchase.

♦   One Price Purchase – 11,000 JPY: Minimum purchasing fee for buying a motor-vehicle from One price Stock is 20,000 JPY. Therefore, there is additional 11,000 cost.

♦   Non-drivable cars – 30,000 – 70,000 JPY: Extra cost would be applied for a dealing with Non-drivable vehicle depending on specific case (Accident cars, vehicles with Engine, Transmission, and other mechanical  failures).

♦   In-land transportation – Domestic transportation cost to a designed Yard/Port differs depending on the location of an Auction house(s). Some Auction houses are located at far places, in turn, causing addition costs (5,000 – 30,000 JPY). Please consult with an assigned Sales Agent prior to Bidding.

♦   Cancellation Fee:  Please refer to Auction participation guidelines AUCTION PARTICIPATION

♦   Late payment – 5,000 JPY: A customer is required to proceed Remaining balance payment within 7 business days from the date of purchase of a motor vehicle. Failure doing so may cause 5,000 JPY daily charge unless other terms agreed with a Sales Agent.

♦   Port charges: Using a yard/port for up to 45 days from the date of purchase with further shipment is Free of charge. However, if shipment is delayed by any reason or cancelled by a customer choice, 400 JPY per a day would be charged after 45 days (Shipment delayed) from the date of purchase or from the First date of arrival at a Yard/Port (Shipment cancelled).
